DESCRIPTION:<p>Organizer: Arctic Circle Assembly </p><p>The 5th Internation
 al Polar Year (2032–33) will be highlighted at this year’s Arctic Circ
 le Assembly by its own plenary session\, a breakout session on national in
 volvement and a dedicated booth.</p>\n<p>The booth\, organized by the IPY-
 5 Interim Secretariat and Executive Committee (IASC\, SCAR\, ISC\, WMO\, a
 nd UArctic)\, will serve as a hub for sharing the latest updates on IPY-5.
  Visitors will learn about the upcoming&nbsp\;<strong>endorsement process 
 for IPY-5 projects</strong>\, set to launch in early 2026\, and how they c
 an contribute to shaping the next phase of planning.</p>\n<p>Two sessions 
 will frame the dialogue:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Plenary Session: The 5th I
 nternational Polar Year</strong> — featuring leading voices from Indigen
 ous organizations\, international science bodies\, and academia.</li>\n<li
 ><strong>Breakout Session: Inspiring National Involvement in IPY-5</strong
 > — focusing on mechanisms and opportunities for national-level particip
 ation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>With the initial Planning Phase (2021–25) conclud
 ing and the Project Phase (2026–33) about to begin\, the Assembly offers
  a pivotal moment to build momentum\, strengthen collaborations\, and insp
 ire broad participation in IPY-5.</p>
