IPY-5 Interim Secretariat
The IPY-5 Interim Secretariat is currently provided by members of the Secretariats of the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC) and the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR), using existing staff capacity, with additional contributions from the International Science Council (ISC).
The Interim Secretariat supports the ongoing coordination, communication, and organisational development of IPY-5 while the process toward a dedicated International Coordination Office continues.
